BBNaija’s Ivatar Breaks Silence on Misconceptions, Romance Rumours and Life After Eviction
Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ifeyinwa Okafor, popularly known as Ivatar, has opened up about her experience in the reality show, addressing public misconceptions about her personality and clarifying rumours about her relationships.
In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Ivatar revealed that her tattoos and appearance led many viewers to assume she would be dramatic or controversial.
“People have said that they expected more drama from me because of how I look, but I am naturally a very calm person. From the start, I made it clear that the stereotype people have about tattooed individuals doesn’t define me,” she said.
Describing herself as “classy and intentional,” the mother of an 18-year-old noted that motherhood shaped her choices in the house, making her unwilling to act recklessly for entertainment.
On rumours of a romance with fellow housemate Kaybobo, Ivatar dismissed the claims, stating that a viral photo suggesting they kissed was digitally altered.
“I was shocked when I saw that picture. It never happened. Kaybobo and I are just friends. We connect because we share similar interests, but there is nothing romantic between us,” she clarified.

She also reflected on her fallout with Mensan, a housemate she once bonded with, admitting she may have mishandled their friendship.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have pulled him into my corner because I felt he was lonely, like I was. We shared some fun moments, but I believe in setting boundaries, and I’ll always stick to that,” she explained.
Since her eviction, Ivatar said she has embraced the lessons of her BBNaija journey, particularly on self-awareness, boundaries, and how easily public narratives can shape reality.
