Gospel singer, Taiwo Adegbodu is dead
The gospel music community has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular gospel singer, Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the renowned twin music group, Adegbodu Twins.
The news of his passing surfaced on Sunday after his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, announced the development through an emotional message shared on social media.
In the post, he wrote, “Taiwo, why will you leave me and your kids without notification? My heart is bleeding. Lord, how do you want me to cope without him? God, why? This is too much for me to bear.”
The twin brothers were widely admired for their energetic worship ministrations, coordinated stage performances, and spiritually uplifting songs that gained popularity in churches and Christian gatherings across Nigeria, particularly in the South-West.
Over the years, their music ministry attracted a loyal audience, with many followers drawn to their unique harmony and passionate delivery during live worship sessions.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of death and funeral arrangements for the late singer had yet to be made public.
