Burna Boy acquires World’s first Widebody Bugatti Chiron
Grammy Award-winning superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has gifted himself a new multi-million dollar Bugatti Chiron.
Venuum, Dubai-based luxury car customisation shop, also known as Venuum Black, had announced the creation of a bespoke carbon fiber widebody kit for the project.
“We are proud to be part of such an iconic project and even more proud to create it for someone we truly appreciate. Stay tuned… because 2026 is coming with huge surprises.”
Burna Boy had earlier shared a teaser about the car in a post on his Instagram page, saying, “I want a Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something one of one, diamonds on the car and the key holder”.
However, controversy has trailed reports of the car’s price. Abuja-based car dealer, @abujacar, initially claimed in a post on X that the customised Bugatti was worth ₦2 billion, but later revised the figure to ₦9 billion without offering any explanation for the change.
According to reports, Bugatti Chirons typically sell for between $3.5 million and more than $5 million, depending on the model, rarity, and level of customization.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Burna Boy nor Venuum has shared any video or images showing the singer taking delivery of the car.
The Widebody Bugatti Chiron becomes the latest hypercar in Burna Boy’s impressive garage, sitting alongside other exotics like his Lamborghini Revuelto and Rolls-Royce Spectre.
