Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has taken to his social media page to share some photos showing his highlights at a recent performance.
This comes few hours after a controversial video of South African singer Tyla giving her acceptance speech at the recently-concluded MTV VMAs award show went viral online.
Tyla, who won the best Afrobeats award and still called herself an Amapiano star, gave recognition to some Afrobeats musicians like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, Ayra Starr, Lojay and Rema but excluded Davido.

Though it was unclear if it was intentional or forgetfulness, Nigerians took to the social media space as they roasted her alive for omitting one of the top Nigerian performers.
However, it appeared that Davido was unbothered as he took to his Instagram page to celebrate his successful energetic performance at Ethiopia.
It can be recalled that the East African country, Ethiopia, marked their new year yesterday as they entered 2017 which is 7 years behind the global Gregorian calendar. The ‘Unavailable’ crooner celebrated with them as he performed his popular including hits from his record-breaking fourth album ‘Timeless’.
He captioned the photos, “🇪🇹 Ethiopia ! The Energy was amazing ! Can’t wait to be back ! The love was over felt !! 🌎💪🏾😘 Melkam Addis Amet ❤️”.
