Entrepreneur and influencer Blord has lost his Instagram account with over 3 million followers after posting private photos of fellow influencer VDM, sparking outrage and mass reports from fans.
Instagram has permanently deleted the verified account of Nigerian businessman and influencer, Blord, wiping out a following of over three million people. The deletion followed a major controversy involving the posting of private photos belonging to fellow social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), a move that violated Instagram’s community guidelines on harassment and privacy.
The incident escalated after Blord’s recent promotional post went viral. He had advertised an iPhone XR packaged in an iPhone 17 case for ₦450,000 — a deal that VDM publicly criticized, claiming the phone’s actual value was closer to ₦280,000.
Feeling attacked, Blord retaliated by paying ₦500,000 to obtain and post VDM’s old private photos on his Instagram story. The act sparked massive outrage across social media, with VDM’s large fanbase reportedly flooding Instagram with complaints and reports against Blord’s account.
In less than 48 hours, Blord’s Instagram profile disappeared from the platform, confirming a permanent ban. The deletion has stirred widespread debate on influencer responsibility and the consequences of online misconduct.
For Blord, who built much of his brand and business empire through social media visibility, the loss marks a significant blow — a reminder of how one reckless post can dismantle years of digital success.
