NYSC Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course to Begin January 21
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, who said the exercise will take place across all 37 NYSC orientation camps in the country.
According to the statement, registration of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) will begin on Wednesday, January 21, and end at midnight on Friday, January 23, 2026.
“The Swearing-in Ceremony for corps members will hold on Friday, January 23, 2026, while the Orientation Course will officially end with a Closing Ceremony on Tuesday, February 10, 2026,” the statement read.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all Prospective Corps Members safe journeys to their various states of deployment and advised them against travelling at night.
