Tuface Calls for Urgent Action to Stop Benue Killings
Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface Idibia, urges stakeholders to go beyond condemnation and take concrete action to prevent future killings in Benue.
In a video circulating on social media on Monday June 16, 2025, Idibia appeared bothered about the killings in Benue, his state of origin.
He expressed sadness over the recent spate of attacks in the state, which claimed about 100 lives and left many with injuries.
“My heart is heavy. I am terribly sad and terribly angry. What is going on in my state, Benue State, has become a national emergency. I can’t wrap my head around it.
“I don’t know what to say at this point in time. It is going to be business as usual, you condemn it. This has to stop. It has to involve everybody,” said Idibia.
