Ladies and gentlemen of the press, esteemed guests, and fellow creatives,

I am honored to address you today as we count down to the Benue Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival. Our theme, “Benue’s Creative Economy: Opportunities, Challenges, and Solutions,” underscores the vast potential of our creative industry.

For too long, our industry has been fragmented, with ethnic and socio-cultural divides hindering our collective progress. Today, I urge you: let us put aside our differences and unite in the spirit of cooperation.

Whether you are Tiv, Idoma, Igede, or from any other ethnic group, we share a common goal: to elevate our creative industry and showcase the beauty of Benue State to the world.

-Foster a Thriving Creative Ecosystem Promote cultural exchange and understanding

-Develop Infrastructure and Resources for Creatives: Showcase Benue’s rich cultural heritage to global audiences

-Create Job Opportunities: Reduce idleness and crime among our youth

The time for blame-shifting is over. The time for collective action is now. Together, we are stronger. Together, we can achieve greatness.

Let us unite to build a vibrant creative industry in Benue, one that celebrates our diversity, showcases our talent, and propels our state to national and global prominence.
