Uche Ekwunife given 72 hours by Anambra’s First Lady over claims of targeting Soludo family

Uche Ekwunife is given a 72-hour ultimatum by the first lady of Anambra regarding alleged attacks on the Soludo family.

Mrs. Nonye Frances Soludo, wife of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has issued a stern warning to former Senator Uche Ekwunife, accusing her of making damaging allegations against the Soludo family.

In a statement released on Saturday, Mrs. Soludo described the claims as malicious fabrications that crossed the line of decency.

“This is a woman for whom I have cooked and fed, together with her children, on several occasions. For her to fabricate criminal allegations against me and my children without provocation shows someone who can even kill,” she declared.

The First Lady gave Ekwunife a 72-hour deadline to retract her remarks and issue a public apology, adding that her legal team has already been notified.

She also challenged the former senator to swear an oath before the Blessed Sacrament in a Catholic cathedral and called for paternity tests for their children in reputable London hospitals, with costs to be borne by Ekwunife.

“I pride myself on my chastity. In my 55 years, I have known only one man, Chukwuma Soludo. As a woman of conservative Catholic upbringing, I challenge you to do the same,” Mrs. Soludo said, stressing her fidelity in 33 years of marriage.

While dismissing Ekwunife’s remarks as “emotional outbursts and infantile invectives,” the governor’s wife said she has no political ambition but will defend her family’s integrity at all costs.

According to her, Governor Soludo is “too clean, too decent, and too sophisticated to waste his time on low lives.”
