VIDEO: Misconduct by Vigilante Group Towards Female Corps Member Spraks Outrage in Anambra

viral video has surfaced online allegedly showing operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi — also known as the Agunechemba Vigilante Group — entering a corps members’ lodge in Anambra State, where they confronted a female corps member, Jennifer Edema Elohor, along with some of her colleagues.

The footage, shared on Monday by the Haven 360 Foundation via Facebook, has sparked public outcry over the handling of the situation by the vigilante operatives.

According to the Foundation, the corps members were accused of being involved in internet-related fraud, despite presenting valid NYSC identification cards. The Foundation condemned the actions as inappropriate and a violation of the rights and dignity of the youth corps members.

“We strongly condemn the treatment of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by individuals identified as part of Operation Udo Ga-Achi or the Agunechemba Vigilante Group in Anambra State,” the Haven 360 Foundation stated.

The group further emphasized that the corps members complied with instructions and identified themselves accordingly, yet were still subjected to unprofessional conduct.

The incident, which reportedly occurred on July 23, 2025, has led to calls for investigation and accountability. Public figures and civil society organizations are demanding that proper procedures be followed in future operations and that the rights of NYSC members be fully protected.
