Liverpool and Portugal have been plunged into mourning following the shocking death of Diogo Jota in a car accident in Spain, reports MyTrendCaster Media
The 28-year-old forward, who was instrumental in Liverpool’s Premier League triumph last season and Portugal’s Nations League victory in June, lost his life alongside his younger brother, Andre Silva.

The fatal crash occurred in the Spanish province of Zamora. Andre, 26, was also a professional footballer, playing for Penafiel in Portugal’s second division.
The tragedy comes barely two weeks after Jota celebrated his wedding to his long-time partner, Rute Cardoso, on 22 June. The couple shared joyful photos from the ceremony, where they were surrounded by their three young children, family, and friends.
