Official: Djordje Petrovic joins Bournemouth from Chelsea for £25 Million

AFC Bournemouth have officially confirmed the signing of Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea in a deal worth approximately £25 million.

The 24-year-old departs Stamford Bridge, having joined the Blues from MLS outfit New England Revolution in 2023.

Petrovic made several appearances during the 2023/24 campaign, often stepping in during injury absences and showing flashes of potential.

Despite his promise, Chelsea have opted to sanction the move, with Bournemouth offering the opportunity of regular first-team football, a key factor in the player’s decision to leave.
