The Horizon Fellowship 2027 is now accepting applications from talented professionals with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, and other emerging technologies.
The fully funded fellowship is designed to help experts transition into public service by working with U.S. government agencies, congressional offices, and leading policy organizations.
Selected fellows will receive competitive salaries of up to $190,000 per year, along with additional financial support for health benefits, relocation, and professional development. The application deadline for the 2027 cohort is August 30, 2026.

Fellowship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
Annual salary of up to $190,000 for senior fellows.
$130,000 annual salary for fellows.
$78,000 annual salary for junior fellows.
Additional $17,000 annual benefits stipend for health insurance and retirement.
Up to $3,000 relocation support (if relocating to Washington, DC).
Up to $3,000 annual professional development funding.

Fellowship Structure
The program consists of three phases:
Remote Training (January–March 2027) – Policy training and skill development.
Matching Process (April–May 2027) – Fellows are matched with government agencies, congressional offices, or think tanks.
Placement (Summer 2027 onward) – Fellows begin full-time, funded policy placements.
