EFCC, INTERPOL reportedly launch investigation into CBEX crash
A recent report reveals that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched an investigation into CBEX, a popular investment platform that recently crashed.
Notably, social media erupted into controversy following the crash of CBEX, with claims that users’ funds were diverted into a specific account.
Amid the buzz, popular blogger, Innocent Tino claims that EFCC and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), a global organization, have launched a joint investigation into the alleged ₦1.3 trillion diverted funds.
Innocent Tino disclosed this in a recent Facebook post.
The post reads,“Boom💥.Finally this is what I have been talking about”.
“EFCC and Interpol has launched an investigation into t N1.3 trillion frauds perpetrated through a digital investment platform, CBEX”.
“CBEX, operated by a group of foreign nationals in collaboration with their Nigerian partners, reportedly collapsed on Monday”.
