Police Service Commission Releases 50,000 Police Constable Recruitment List.
The Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially released the names of successful applicants recruited into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) as part of the 50,000 Police Constables Recruitment Exercise.
According to a press release issued by the Commission on 15 July 2026, candidates who participated in the recently concluded written examination can check their recruitment status through the official recruitment portal starting from 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
The recruitment exercise was conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, State Career and Counselling Departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee, ensuring a transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process.
How to Check the Nigeria Police Recruitment Result
Candidates are advised to:
- Visit the official PSC recruitment portal: https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng
- Log in using the details provided during registration.
- Check your recruitment status.
- Print your training call-up slip if selected.
In addition to the online portal, successful applicants will receive SMS and email notifications through the phone number and email address used during registration.
What Successful Candidates Should Do Next
Successful candidates will be required to report to their designated Police Training Institutions on dates that will be communicated by the Commission.
Upon resumption, candidates will undergo:
- Medical examination by the Nigeria Police Medical Team.
- Documentation and credential verification.
- Registration into the training programme.
- Failure to report within the specified period will be regarded as a rejection of the offer.
- Candidates who fail the mandatory medical examination will be declared medically unfit and withdrawn from the training exercise.

Successful candidates should report with the following:
- Training Call-Up Slip
- National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
- Bank Verification Number (BVN) Slip
- Original educational certificates
- Photocopies of all certificates
- Other documents and items listed on the recruitment portal
PSC Chairman Commends President Tinubu
Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (Rtd), mni, expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture.
He urged successful candidates to uphold professionalism, integrity, discipline, and patriotism throughout their careers in the Nigeria Police Force.
