Key Responsibilities

As a Communications Intern, you will:

  • Create and schedule engaging social media content, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Assist in writing press releases, media pitches, and press kits.
  • Support video production and multimedia storytelling for portfolio companies.
  • Write blog articles and update website content.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and monitor content performance.
  • Provide administrative support, scheduling, documentation, and reporting.

 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Be currently studying or recently graduated in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Possess excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrate interest in impact investing, venture capital, entrepreneurship, or African startups.
  • Be familiar with LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Have basic knowledge of Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
  • Be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of French will be considered an added advantage.
